It started with a question.
Why did everyone keep reaching for the same sauce? At every meal, a pepper sauce was already on the table. Unintroduced. Unexplained. Understood.
The sauce quietly passed around the table,
the way things do when everyone already knows what its for.
Eggs, grilled fish, vegetables — whatever came out of the kitchen — pepper sauce was the complement.
Outside of Guyana and the Caribbean, it was almost unknown.
That felt worth questioning.
WIRI was created from that moment.
